Next Rape Prevention Class 8/4

There is very limited space still available in the upcoming Rape Prevention Class.  Hosted by Modern Warrior, we have trained thousands of women in this class alone over the course of 25+ years.

As a business of the community we deem it necessary that we give back to our community.  By offering this class as a free community service we have been able to empower women age 12 and up by teaching them their legal rights, simple yet effective blocking, and how to “flip the predator switch”.

The next class will be taught by two of our highly knowledgeable and dynamic Black Belts, Jessie and Marvin, on Saturday August 4th.

You will be amazed at how much you will learn in just 4 short hours!  Call Megan at 631-226-8383 to reserve your spot ASAP.  This class tends to fill quickly.

4 Week Female Self Defense Class begins next week!

July 10th will mark the beginning of a new cycle of the highly acclaimed Female Self Defense Program at Modern Warrior.

In just 4 short weeks participants will learn their legal rights if they are attacked, the best places for women to hit, how to block, what to do if they get knocked to the ground, and more!  This is the class you’ve been searching for ladies…

To register contact the General Manager at info@modernwarrior.com

We look forward to training with you!

Congrats Warrior Women (6/10/12)

The 8 Week Female Self Defense Class that began in April has come to a  triumphant close.

Positively Radiant: Female Self Defense Grads and Instructors pose together after a successful and moving round of confrontational

Eleven women emerged victorious after completing a series of confrontational exercises, proving to themselves that they have what it takes to win a violent confrontation, even if their attacker is bigger, faster or stronger than they are.

In addition to congratulating the students, Modern Warrior would like to take a moment to thank Joanne and the team of assistant instructors who volunteered their time to make this class a success.  We also want to extend our appreciation to the safety monitors, and the four “Bad Guys” who suited up–Jim, Jimmy, Mickey and Vinny–we couldn’t do it without you!
